Data Management Plans

To help you prepare a solid data management plan, we need a minimum notice of one week AND your cooperation addressing key questions that will strongly impact the cost of data management and your proposal's success.

If you want to include the USF Geoportal & Data Repository in your proposal, you must contact Todd Chavez at least one week in advance of the proposal's submission. We will work with you to prepare a DMP and to determine if the proposal must include funds to support data management by Tampa Library personnel.

If you are going to work independently on a data management plan, we have listed a range of resources to assist you. We highly recommend starting with the California Digital Library's DMPTool. You will be directed to create an account (free) and will then be asked a series of questions that will structure the DMP generated by the system.
